Exhibition info
The exhibition in Galleria Uusitalo presents paintings from artist Antti Linnovaara (b. 1960) from the years 2009 to 2010. Linnovaara’s previous exhibition in Helsinki was in Galleria Uusitalo in 2008. The processing of paint comprises an essential part of the language and content of Linnovaara’s works. It’s been said that his works are like magical mirrors in the abstract shapes of which one can recognize things meaningful to oneself. Linnovaara’s expression scale is characterized by exceptional width and ability to generate unexpected, also decorative visualizations. The silhouette like figures in his paintings build up to a kind of keys to the subconsciousness.
